COP26 - Local Innovations for New Climate Realities
Cities Alliance participates at the Sustainable Innovation Forum at COP26.
The Sustainable Innovation Forum (SIF) is an inclusive, collaborative platform, convened by Climate Action, alongside COP26 in Glasgow with a fully programmed hybrid event.
The SIF offers all stakeholders the opportunity to have a tangible impact at COP, helping forge the cross-sector, public-private partnerships essential for transformational change, showcasing business action, the power of green finance and the innovative solutions at our disposal today.
This 12th edition of the Forum 6 years after world leaders signed the historic Paris Agreement, marks a crucial deadline for countries to present more ambitious climate commitments.
At the Forum, Cities Alliance will host a Climate Leaders Live session to share lessons from one of our recent climate adaptation projects in partnership with women's rights organization Badabon Sangho, from Bangladesh.
A discussion with Arne Janssen, Climate lead at Cities Alliance and Mamun Rashid, founder of Badabon Sangho.
This event will take place at the Innovation Zone, Cessnock Quay, Glasgow.
