Transforming Mumbai into a World-Class City

Mumbai presents challenges related to population growing and the strain on infrastructure and services. The document addresses the creation, results and lessons learned of the Mumbai Transformation Programme (MTP), a multi-stakeholder and public-private planning process. The MTP includes more than 40 projects to spur economic growth, reduce poverty and enhance quality of life for residents, especially slum dwellers.
