The product is the Executive Summary of the Future Cities Africa (FCA) Programme. FCA is a 24-month programme undertaken by the Cities Alliance, on behalf of the UK’s Department for International Development (DFID) with a budget of £4.81 million. FCA is a partnership initiative to support cities in Ghana, Ethiopia, Uganda and Mozambique as they transform themselves into resilient, inclusive centres of economic growth. In this sense, the document tackles as well the main challenges faced by Africa Urban transition and brief the findings and outputs of FCA.
