The State of the Cities in Brazil: The 2000-2009 Report

This report provides a cross-sectoral analysis of urbanisation conditions in Brazil, with the goal of inform an urban development policy that incorporates the diversity of Brazil's municipalities, and promotes an inclusive, democratic and sustainable model of urban development.

It was produced with the support of the Cities Alliance as well as the National Front of Mayors, the Brazilian Association of Municipalities, the Ministry of Cities, Caixa, the World Bank, IDB, and UN-Habitat.
