The City Statute of Brazil: A Commentary
A partnership between Cities Alliance and the Ministry of Cities, this publication is a collection of essays analysing Brazil’s City Statute, a unique and groundbreaking legal instrument that seeks to overcome urban inequality. It describes the content and process of elaboration of the Statute, as well as the political, social and economic background against which the relevant legislation was formulated and is now being implemented.
