Tunis: Cities Alliance Assembly 2022

In October 2022 Cities Alliance held its Assembly in Tunisia. The event served as a platform to explore how the organisation can leverage the collective expertise of its members to advance urban solutions through effective partnerships.

 

For Cities Alliance, communities are at the centre, not as recipients of aid but as active partners. By bringing all urban actors together we can ensure urbanisation is properly addressed. Partnerships are the key.

The three-day event was also an opportunity for the members to engage with local stakeholders and international partners, during a series of visits to urban projects in Tunis and a day of technical panel discussions on topics such as climate resilience, gender equality, and economic development.
