FEMMEDINA: Inclusive Spaces By and For Women
Based on a participatory process to assess the engagement of women the in the economic and social life of the Medina of Tunis, the FEMMEDINA Inclusive City Programme contributed to creating more gender-sensitive urban spaces in the city.
The project resulted in multiple policy recommendations and seven small-scale public space interventions and infrastructures that promote women's economic, cultural and social participation and empower them to engage as equals in the public space.
