Cities Alliance is looking for a new Head of Global Programmes, to join our Secretariat in Brussels.
The Head of Global Programmes is responsible for achieving the ambition as set out in the Cities Alliance Strategic Plan to advocate and mainstream new thinking on key urban issues.
S/he provides the substantive oversight, quality assurance and programmatic coherence to deliver the annual work plans and is responsible for strategic programme coordination, networking and advocacy.
The Head of Global Programmes reports to the Director of Cities Alliance. S/he leads a team of Programme Managers, working closely with Senior Management, members and partners of the Alliance.
This is a UNOPS/P4 position. The role requires extensive field travel.
