Secure Tenure in African Cities: Community Innovation

Urban poor individuals and communities are essential actors in strengthening tenure security, and small-scale, short-term incremental solutions can be key to improving tenure security and housing conditions, and to city-building.
This video provides an overview of how 5 projects supported by Cities Alliance, under the Secure Tenure in African Cities initiative, addressed the issue of land tenure through new technologies and stakeholder engagement. The initiative was implemented in DRC, Zanzibar, South Africa, Ivory Coast and Kenya.
