[28 August 2018] -- The Cities Alliance is hosting a virtual learning exchange 3-7 September for projects from the 2015 Catalytic Fund call “Migration and the Inclusive City.”
This call funded 11 projects that sought innovative policy responses and practical approaches to increasing spatial, social, and economic inclusion by extending the rights to the city to migrants.
The webinar series brings together grantees and their project partners for peer-learning and exchange on the different project approaches, best practices, and lessons learned.
We are organising four webinars on the following topics:
-- Capacity building of, and support systems for, migrants
-- Policy development and government responsiveness
-- Fostering social cohesion through creative approaches
-- Challenges and opportunities of multi-stakeholder approaches and working with local government
For more information on the different sessions and projects, see our webinar descriptions.
Training on project sustainability
To help projects achieve their long-term objectives, the webinar series will be followed by a professional training on project sustainability. This training is composed of additional two webinars on sustainability challenges and opportunities, as well as bilateral coaching sessions for each project.
Cities Alliance has hosted two previous Catalytic Fund learning exchanges, for the Youth and the City and Know Your City! calls.
The virtual learning exchange is by invitation only. Its learning outcomes will be documented and made available to the public.
