Upgrading precarious and informal settlements is a top priority for the Mexican Government. This event will address challenges and perspectives for the post-COVID recovery vis-à-vis the role of municipalities in urban planning to guarantee resilience and equity in vulnerable urban areas. 

This is a collaboration between GIZ, UN-Habitat, and Cities Alliance with SEDATU, on the path of implementing Mexican urban and housing policies. The event is part of the Urban October Dialogues: The Urban Sector in Mexico Beyond the Covid-19 series.
