Cities Alliance - Executive Committee Meeting Update - Ghana 11-13 July 2011

Dear Executive Committee members,
 
Attached, kindly please find the draft overview of the Ghana EXCO meeting 11-13 July. Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) has kindly offered to organise a "Build Louder" trip at their site in Kumasi on 14-15 July.
 
If you are interested in participating, please let Sid Henderson (shenderson@citiesalliance.org) know and she will put you in touch with HFHI. HFHI has space for 15-20 participants. More information about the trip is attached in the meeting overview file.
 
Sid will also be in touch shortly about hotel reservations in Accra and will send you each an invitation letter to use for your Visa application.
 
The meeting dates are 11-13 July 2011:
  • 11 July - EXCO Business meeting
  • 12 July - EXCO Site Visit day
  • 13 July - Policy Advisory Forum/Special Session of the Ghana Urban Platform
Optional:
14-15 July - HFHI "Build Louder" trip to Kumasi
 
We are very excited about showcasing the Ghana Country Partnership Programme, and for EXCO members to achieve a concrete understanding of context, nature and partners of the proposed programme.
 
Kindly please confirm your participation to Sid Henderson (shenderson@citiesalliance.org) at your earliest convenience and also let us know if you would be interested in participating in the HFHI "Build Louder" trip in Kumasi.
