A report published by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) that summarises the discussions that took place at an ADB-sponsored workshop held 8–16 November 2007 in China.

The workshop focused on drawing lessons and implications from the visions and experience of urban development in China and India. High-level officials of central, state, and municipal governments from India participated in the workshop, with particular emphasis  given to the role of the private sector in the provision of urban infrastructure and services.
