Sao Paulo Support Office
To provide a learning network to support and further scale up the Cities Alliance activities in Brazil.
The main activity of the continuation of Sao Paulo office will be to provide support to the on-going Brazil work programme, particular activities under the Brazil partnership agreement.
In addition, office staff will extract and document lessons and experiences about the approach
and methodologies from the technical assistance activities supported under Phase One and the
previous ItalianCities Alliance grant, Cities Alliance: Moving to Scale in Latin America and the Caribbean and disseminate these lessons and experiences in the region and internationally so as to promote the
sustained scaling-up of the methodology.
In addition, the project will continue to co-finance the costs of maintaining the Cities Alliance office facility at the University of Sao Paulo, to serve as a base for project activities.
