Final Report from the 2011 Independent Evaluation of the Cities Alliance

 Dear Consultative Group,

I am pleased to forward to you the Final Report from the 2011 independent evaluation of the Cities Alliance, prepared by COWI A/S.  The draft findings and recommendations had been presented to the Consultative Group (CG) at the 2011 annual meeting (November 8, 2011, Mozambique).  This report takes into account feedback provided by the membership at that meeting, and subsequent feedback received from the Executive Committee (EXCO) on the draft final report. 

The Secretariat will present a response to the findings and recommendations at the next meeting of EXCO, scheduled for June 6, 2012 (Uganda).  The EXCO and Secretariat will report to the full CG on actions being taken in response to the evaluation, during the 2012 annual meeting (October 28-30, 2012, in Vietnam). 

The report will be posted on the public pages of the CA website.
